Verona Pizza - Calgary

The pizza is fantastic, the staff is excellent, and the owners are amazing!

The pizza was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place.

This used to be a nice place for a quick, tasty lunch but isn't anymore. On a recent visit, the selection of pizzas was poor and a few looked like they had been under the heat lamps too long. l chose the Hawaiian which looked okay but tasted so-so. Too much rubbery cheese and one lonely piece of ham. Overall, the quality is no different from what you'd get at a fast-food chain. The service is no longer the same as well.

First bite came with a nugget of metal, not foil but an actual small fragment of steel or aluminum. Could not identify the piece but would guess something inside the oven broke and pieces dropped into the pizza.Returned it right away, there was zero concern from the staff and a weak sorry. Wont be going back.

Love their pizza.....my favourites are Hawaiian, spinach & feta cheese, pepperoni & bacon.Update - July 22, 2015 - Their location in Lancaster on the 2nd level of TD Square is closed.....don't know if they are re-opening there or upstairs at the Food Court in the Core......all eateries at Lancaster are closed........disappointed
