Wild Rose Brewery Taproom - Calgary

Wild Rose is our favorite brewery. Coming from the United States, when we decided to camp in Banff, we knew we had to make the hour and a half drive to Wild Rose.

The Szechuan pork tacos were unpleasantly oily and lacked flavor, while the IPA was also lacking in taste. It was the worst IPA I have ever tried.

This restaurant is excellent. The beer selection is great and the service is top-notch. The bar food is some of the best I've ever had. Make sure to visit when you're in Calgary.

Good selection of beers, we had off the taster planks before choosing a pint of dark beer. We had the chilli for lunch very good. The staff were plentiful and friendly. Large outside tabled area or quirky inside. Can also buy for take away

This brewery is located in an old air hangar. They have many of their own beers on tap, as well as some rotating beers from other breweries. The food was very tasty. And our server was awesome, she seemed to really love her job. She...offered great recommendations with regards to which beers to sample and which food menu items she liked. It was super busy on this beautiful October day. The large patio was full, and the indoor seating was busy, but was spaced well to follow COVID protocols.
