Woody's Taphouse - Calgary

This restaurant is a local bar in the neighborhood. It may not be the most thrilling place, but it is not unpleasant either. The food served is decent, typical pub fare. The service was friendly and fairly efficient.

We waited 15-20 minutes with no server at Woody's and decided to leave. We ended up going to Joey's Urban instead where we received great service and enjoyed great food. The management at Woody's needs to address the issues with their staff or face consequences.

Woody's Taphouse is a straightforward pub with typical screens, booths, and other common features, opting for a minimalist decor overall (aside from a few sports items here and there).

Right from the start the server / bartended seemed as though we were bothering her by being there. When I asked for the rundown on what they have on tap, she sighed and said "a lot", and then proceeded to rhyme off the 7 most generic beers; "coors, canadian, stella, keiths, guiness...". Anytime we said thank you, there was no response. When she dropped off the food she set it on the table and just walked away without saying anything. Never came back to check on how everything was.The food was just okay. But really it was the service that deserves the terrible rating. Would never come back or recommend.
