Teriyaki Chef - Calhoun

The restaurant was quite overpriced for the quality of food received. We ordered teriyaki chicken and lo mein, both of which were overly sweet with minimal chicken. The portions were small and the bill was about triple the amount listed on the online menu. We placed our order at 3:30 only to be informed that we would be charged the dinner prices instead of the lunch prices listed online. In total, we paid $33 for two teriyaki chickens, vegetable lo mein, and four egg rolls. The price seemed excessive for a fast casual Japanese meal. The food itself was mediocre in taste, nothing exceptional.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. My favorite dish by far is the General Tso chicken, extra spicy. I also enjoy their vegetable egg rolls. However, I wish they would add alfalfa bean sprouts and water chestnuts to the rolls - that would be amazing. The staff is always friendly and the Chef is top-notch.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be dining here again. I placed my order over the phone and it was ready in about 10 minutes.

It would be a very good idea to advertise that the kitchen closes at 7:30pm rather than 8PM like the restaurant says it closes at. Very misleading and frustrating.

The food here is great and the service was fantastic.
