Faro el solar trattoria - Cali

The food is amazing and the terrace is great to relax, have fun, eat well and have a great Christmas with friends... the environment is fantastic...

If you are in a city where all people are very warm and friendly, you expect that a facility like this fine restaurant will be even more so and they were almost. But the food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and the decor... was pleasant. I'll regain the Cochinillo. Very delicious.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful opposite and has an open environment with sunshades on the tables. eating is typical Italian with some Latin inferences and is very good. it is an upscale restaurant with a raised amount and the prices reflect that, but a good place to eat.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and I thought it was time to write a review. Every time I go to Cali, this is a must visit place for me and its not entirely because of the food. As you walk in to this...restaurant you will encounter a huge patio, and sometimes (on weekends) there will be a live band playing. After you sit down your server will come and ask for a drink, and pass around the menus. The menu is very diverse with options for everyone. I personally like the meats, and every steak I have tried has been good. The food is not the best you will have, but its above average. As for the service its pretty terrible, waiters are inconsistent from visit to visit, and taking a while to visit the table. The real added value of this restaurant is the ambience. The combination of the patio, very nice live music make it an excellent place to spend the night, and hangout with friends. Overall, if you are not in a rush and want a place to have good food, and a good time with friends I definitely recommend Faro El Solar.

We had dinner at Faro el solar with a group of ten. The service is great, altough the restaurant was full, we did not have to wait long for our drinks or food. The quality of the food is good for its price. A minor...setback was the band that started playing loudly during our dinner, after which a conversation was not possible anymore. However a good ambiance and a recommendation in Cali.
