Tizones - Cali

My expectations were high for this restaurant, the first thing that surprised me was the decoration, cast iron with marble slabs and metal chairs with pillows, as found in the pools, it took 10 minutes to use, the attention of the waiter was always very economical and unfriendly, but our expectations were mainly in food, the Lomo al Trapo is insip and the page is half a potato with cream asked, I was extremely disappointed

Went with a friend expecting a great steak.. but what a surprise we ordered lomo a el trapo which I had try in Dapa at Barichole it was delicious. these people at tizones are amazing first I saw the waiter poured all the leftovers chimichurris to fill a little jar to give it as new how disgusting this can be..then my lomo al trapo was a shame it eas thing and not grill on charcol pretty much fry . Can't believe these people are shameless to give something like that to a customer. Stay away.

My Wife's Uncle surprised us with an invitation to Tizones. WOW! What a great discovery. Please know their menu comes in both English and Spanish, so don't be afraid to ask. We started out by ordering the Ceviche de Camaron (actually for us Gringos, it's a Shrimp Cocktail not Ceviche). It was good but I was really tasting Ceviche Pacifico, but the shrimp was prepared perfectly. My wife ordered the Pollo al Limon and it was simply awesome (see photo). The portion were extremely generous and the chicken was moist and flavorful. It was probably one of the best chicken dishes I have ever tasted. I asked the Server for his recommendation and he suggested the Surf and Turf. My plate came with two pieces of Baby Beef (Veal) and three enormous Langostinos (Malaysian Tiger Shrimp) wrapped in bacon. Delicious! If you are looking for a romantic place to have an exceptional dining experience then you need to plan a meal here. You will not be disappointed!

This is a great restaurant in a very nice neighborhood. Highly recommend. The food was clean, tasty, not oily or heavy. Steaks were juicy and full of what I consider calm and heavenly flavor.
