Checkers Restaurant - CALISTOGA

I always had a good experience here, although it looks like they are permanently closed and remodeling for a new restaurant. Thanks Checkers for all your years in Calistoga.

We were made to feel very welcome here, although it was quite late. The service was brilliant and the food was very tasty. Just what we needed after a long journey.

We have been going there for over 25 years and we've never had a bad meal. Love it!

My family and I used to frequent this restaurant because the food was delicious and consistent. They recently got a new chef and changed a few things up which was a bad idea probably won't go back

Prawns Linguini and carbonara were ok. Greek salad was delicious. Didn't try the Sicilian pizza but all 3 daughters disliked it. Skillet meatball was good, just a bit on the spicy side. Cheesy garlic bread was tasty and crispy. Chianti was way too young and not good at all. Relaxing atmosphere and good service.
