El Balcon Eat Drink Love

Not sure if I had experienced El Balcon enough to write a review, but the fact is that it is in my good memories of Cartagena. It was 2014 and my wife and I discovered El Balcon in the last moments of the fifth and last day in Cartagena. We check with the hotel nearby and take the bags up. The staff was assembled by three persons. You were all siblings. Two ladies and a gentleman. You were very nice to us. Kept our bags, got us a nice place on the balcony and when it was a bit slow at the moment of the afternoon, they all talked to us. We have a Brazilian caipirinha as courtesy as we are Brazilians. Not exactly what we get in Brazil, but no mistake... never had a real Caipirinha anywhere other than Brazil (20 countries traveled). Then they invited me to show them the authentic way to mix a caipirinha. Me too. Everybody starts getting Caipirinhas. The Lord said that his favorite drink would be from this point and beyond. They said they would have to increase their price as the original uses a lot of cachaça. Well, I write this review six years later. Not sure how these guys are, but I knew they were still in business. You really had passion for business. I recommend El Balcon. I hope the restaurant will be as beautiful as I have. Rock on!

Besides the lime, you wouldn't imagine it was a margarita. Under poor. Two blends were added... But I doubt a real tequila if not in a tiny amount.

El Balcón was perfect. Wonderful ambiance and views. We loved looking over the balcony as we sipped our delicious cocktails. Adriana was the sweetest and by far the coolest person we’ve met in Cartagena. 10/10 would recommend!

Estuve hace 3 días en el restaurante y me encantó la casuela. Aparte , el balcón es excelente para ver la tarde pasar acompañado de cócteles

Excelente experiencia, tuve una muy buena vista de cartagena, y pude apreciar la comida tradicional de Colombia. Todo muy delicioso
