The friendly staff get a great big tick as they’re lovely people, and I wish them well, but we felt so sad for them as from what we were told they’re clearly caught in a downward spiralling Caloundra restaurant scene, so are keeping things lean and mean to survive in the current economic environment. The restaurant ambience hasn’t changed since our 2016 visit and is just about OK but is almost spartan. As other reviewers have pointed out its wine list is in decline as the staff told us they were not renewing the liquor licence, so whilst they do have a few drinks on offer, BYO at $3/head corkage is the best way to go. We were a bit short on time as were going to a show, so only tried the $9 Pasta and Pizza specials, and they were generous size, well prepared and tasty enough. The menu didn’t feature as many dishes as it did a year ago. Best of luck guys – hope things improve for you.
This restaurant has fast service and is hygienic the food ordered was well cooked and flavoursome sadly some items on the menu weren't available but that being said the items sampled were great such as the chicken fettuccine.
Went with my family tonight and the staff were so nice and friendly ... then the food arrived and it was so good. The pesto pasta was some of the best I've ever had ... we'll be easily coming back again.
Have read many of the reviews - hard to believe they were the same restaurant. We booked for 7 people pre-show at the nearby Caloundra Events Centre. Booked on-line via the restaurants website and received a confirmation email from the on-line booking agent. Arrived to find no record of the booking as "we don't use that company any more - we prefer people to phone" - that would be great except that when I tried on 2 occasions to confirm the reservation directly with the restaurant - no answering machine to leave a message. However - the waiter was very friendly and assured us they had room so we stayed - asked for the wine list to be told "we have run out of wine" - wtf - what sort of restaurant "runs out of wine" - maybe out of one option but no wine??? They didn't even have most of the beers on their menu and no lemonade/Sprite etc when my daughter asked for one. For an Italian restaurant that was not heavily booked - service of the food was VERY slow - despite arriving at 6pm - we were served our food at just before 7pm - and we had only ordered 2 pizzas and a couple of entrees - the food was very nice - no complaints about what we got or the friendliness of the staff but it does not seem that the owners/management have any idea about running a restaurant. Very disappointing and we will not be back - too many good options close by to make that mistake again.
The service was very friendly but slow for our table of eight. Food was excellent but menu limited. Kids had a great area in the back to hang out but the rest of the restaurant needed more decorations. Great potential.
