Non Solo Vino - CALTAGIRONE

We arrived in caltagirone quite late after an early start for a flight from london, and a trip from catania through the labyrinth, which is the centro storico of caltagirone to find our accommodation. When we came to dinner on a Sunday night somewhere, we found this restaurant where the owners immediately felt welcome. friendly service, well cooked eating and a free glass zibbibo to accompany dessert were a perfect start to our environment. we went back.

About hours after eating the antipasto buffet (which was quite delicious I thought) I was violently ill. I will not go into detail, but believe me, they do not want this to happen with them on holiday!

Recommended by hotel, it was in the heart of the old town ,close to the stairs. Ate lunch on a Sunday. Chose the antipasti buffet, per person. Very fresh and tasty, good selection of grilled veggies, cheeses, rice dishes and frittata.

I couldnt find many options for dinning in Caltarigone, but i think this is one of the best options. Food was excellent and there was a very nice family atmosphere. Run by the owner
