Cuba Libre Restaurant Rum Bar

The food was unpleasant and not what we as cuban expected. The paella ?, was the worst paella we had in years. The black beans, no good at all, and the fish were not well cooked. This type of restaurant that you don't go to for 2nd time.

To dance excellent but very expensive to pay $20 dollars for entry for a place so dirty and with such bad service ?

Food and service was on point, got the French toast/ bacon, my opinion the French toast entrée should also come with eggs or home fries for $20 not just bacon, bread with the mango butter was pretty good

This was our second time dining at Cuba Libre and everything was even better than we remembered! The service is top notch! All their staff were super attentive. We got their mojitos of course perfectly tart and sweet and delicious! Their empanadas were phenomenal. Filled to the brim with fillings, we got beef and chicken. The crust is soft yet crispy on the outside, cooked to perfection. For our entrees we got the CHURRASCO A LA CUBANA (skirt steak) and MASITAS DE PUERCO FRITAS (pork). Both dishes were full of flavor, but not spicy! The pork was the most tender, juicy, but crispy on the edges meat, and then drenched in this sweet sauce and topped with onions that paired perfectly. ?‍?? My partner loves this place because she can eat delicious flavorful food but it’s not too spicy for her sensitive palette. Can’t wait to take our friends here next time we are in DC.
