If Lucky Charms could get away from the bratty menacing cereal kids, he’d run right to Green Island bakery for their chocolate chip biscuits. Any more authentic and you’d need to order a Guinness with ‘em

I am so excited I found this bakery! My first experience was sending an Irish loving friend and assortment of bread, scones and shortbread for their birthday. They were so impressed with the gift and couldn't stop talking about how fabulous everything tasted. So I decided to treat myself. Now I know why she was so enthusiastic about all the treats. I wish I could say what my favorite is but it's hard to choose. I love the breads in the morning and the shortbread later in the day.

Very tasty baked goods. The millionaire's shortbread was good. But I got the chocolate shortbread cookies, gluten-free, to share with my GF GF. Sometimes gluten-free cookies are just passable. These were more than that--they were fantastic. If you think you'd notice the lack of gluten, you'd be wrong. The chocolate balanced perfectly. Crispy outside with chewy, soft insides. Def worth a try

Unbelievably good and buttery shortbread and oatmeal cookies. I can’t say enough good things about Caroline and this wonderful small business. Good luck expanding your cookie empire! YUM!!!

I have not been to this bakery but I witnessed the owner mailing out a number of parcels with her company labels this morning at a DC post office. She was angry about the process and the time it was taking, and she became irate. The language she used to speak to her partner who was with her and the post office workers was so awful that I felt compelled to share here for her customers to know. One of the many things I overheard was a disparaging comment about the postal worker who had helped her. She said that the postal worker was like 70 years old and shouldn 't even be out of her house, let alone working there. She also called her partner a number of terrible, terrible names when he tried to diffuse the situation, telling him he was a d a who knows nothing about business and he shouldn 't dare even speak to her and to keep his mouth shut.
