Gueny’s Cafe Market In Wash

The food is phenomenal. I had the pleasure of ordering several things off the menu, and was delighted by all of the different dishes. I will be ordering more food from here.

Had the best experience at guenet tadesse’s spot—the vegetable dishes and injera were completely delicious, and the ethiopian coffee she poured for us was perfect, and served with fresh popcorn. very charming and intimate cafe, and such gud conversation at this lovely spot to pop into during our one day in DC for protests at the capitol.

The food was amazing and the owner was very kind and accommodating! Would definitely recommend

It feels so genuine and authentic when you walk in. Like I'm ethiopian all of sudden. I knew what flavors I wanted but not what to call them. She listened and created me a custom ethiopian inspired breakfast platter with eggs and pepper and tomatoes and don't forget the injera that was to die for. I went back the next morning lol Now I won't come back to DC without stopping by here.
