I had an outstanding dinner sitting at their comfortable bar space. I appreciated the thoughtfulness each dish showcased, if you’re feeling overwhelmed like I was choosing a course, the staff is more than qualified to help you create a dinner that is perfect for you. The asparagus salad easily won the evening featuring a unique combination of flavors I have never tasted before and will think about long after last night. I will say my partner and I usually share three or four courses, and eating solo I was able to finish three on my own. Not necessarily a complaint, as I often find when I dine alone I only have room for one plate when I desperately wish I could have more!Kinship will be a necessary stop for any future travel to the city I will enthusiastically recommend it!
Our children had arranged dinner at Kinship to celebrate our anniversary while staying in Washington DC.We were greeted and congratulated when we arrived and from that moment on everything was absolutely perfect. The wines, appetizers (squid, mushrooms and asparagus salad), main courses (roast chicken, veal and scallops) and desserts (rhubarb pie and opera cake) were all outstanding as was our service. If you are looking for the complete dining experience, highly recommend Kinship.
One word is enough for me to describe this restaurant -pretentious.The food was average, the service aloof and scattered. Will not be back. Do not recommend.
Great for special meal and experience. Reliable for price you pay.
