Feedback gevenThe food here is nasty. Alfredo pasta more like a soup. Sauce tastes like it’s from a jar. Overcooked noodles. Bruschetta had no tomato or onion. We won’t come back
Nice experience overall.The calamari was very good and the tiramisu too. As for the pasta (the carbonara and the arrabiatta), it tasted good (a little too fatty at the end for the carbonara) but overpriced.On a side note, we continuously had to ask for water and they were cleaning up the place while customers were still having dinner.I’ve been to other places where the pasta taste as good, the service is more thoughtful and the bill lighter.Bonus star : it was my friend’s birthday and they offered her some real good ice cream !
The food and service was fantastic. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Rich flavors and great selection make this an instant favorite. Well finished interior and great atmosphere only make the experience better. I chose the smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce and it was spectacular.
I have been going to Sfogalina very regularly last few years and generally the experience has been fine. However this time was probably one of the worst experiences. I had invited a guest visiting from out of the country. They completely messed up his order both appetizer and main course. Raised this with Manager and senior servers and nothing was done except sorry . I was still charged for both. Dont really care about $40 50 but one wants to see what is the gesture being shown and how seriously they took the issue. During the entire time we probably had many times different staff would come to check if we need anything. Probably way too much and would keep interrupting conversation and would be different staff. Makes sense to have one person who is your server assigned and would check at different intervals but not constantly interrupting. They would bring dishes without clearing up and guests would have to move their plates and dishes rathe than table being cleared first and then bring the next dish. This is the second time here that I felt service standards were extremely poor and lot to be desired for a good restaurant. Let it go the first time and didn’t even say anything. But I think the service level has deteriorated significantly over the last 1 year. I dont think the Manager also provides or works towards improving service standards as i did raise the issue with the Manager (I think he was the Manager wearing light grey suit). Personally compared to other restaurants i dont think i saw the Manager playing any active role and checking on guests.
