The Al pastor tacos were dry and, other than the salsa applied, did not have much flavor. I got the pork belly taco as well and it was cold and poorly cooked. I’m not really a fan of corn tortillas but these were the best I’ve had. The 15% service fee on everything is stupid. Why not just raise the prices? One bottle of Jarritos is $4.

I used to like this place a lot until til the other day when I went in and I waited over 30 minutes for an order of guacamole and queso. After asking if my order was available, they said they had run out of chips. They had not even started making them until I asked about my order. The manager chuckled like, oops, and asked the kitchen to expedite the chips. I waited for the new batch and they gave me one bag (each item in my order comes with a bag of chips so I should have gotten 2). I then asked for the second and they seemed annoyed. So after 40 minutes of waiting I got my order.The chips were soaked with oil and not edible. I put them in a plastic bag to see if they’d dry out — you can see the amount of oil from the bag. Such a waste of money and the manager didn’t even think about offering me a refund or anything to apologize for the long wait.

One of our family’s favorite spots in dc! The yummiest of tacos— the vibes are great— and oh my goodness the salsa verde is delishhhhhh.

But here, they’re served enchilados, covered in salsa, crema, cotija, and lettuce, so you need a fork, and also, if you were expecting non-dairy, they’re not.
