Mar Aberto - Camaçari

Mar Aberto was amazing! Delicious seafood, moqueca and caipirinhas; and fantastic service! The views of the ocean and reef are gorgeous. Highly highly recommend!

Beautiful view and good food, but what hit me was the service, very nice and polite people, fast service with a great posture! The fact that the walls are white, make a clean atmosphere right there on the beach! The food is delicious, authentic and not too expensive! The view of the fisher boats is relaxing, plus, you can see the waves on the reef what is spectacular scene!

It is located in front row of the beach, decorated with good taste, kind of mediterranean style. The service is really good. Drinks could be best but definately the food was great. We ordered a salad for entree that was super abundant, and then shared salmon. The night simply beautiful. Compared to the restaurants near there, this is a highlight and other restaurants are over exagerating prices.

We were delighted visiting this restaurant during our Business tripDia We got a table on the deck just with front view to the ocean. We had just seafood appetizers with couple of beers.The place is simple but it has its charm created by the owners with several small detailed decorations. Indeed when back to Camacari, I will come over again.

One of the best restaurants in Bahia faces the quaint beach of Arembepe, with its fishing boats and a lovely, reef-protected area great for bathing. Opened over thirty years ago, Mar Aberto features great seafood, the classic dishes of Bahian gastronomy and the best service. Very informal, right on the sand. Don't miss the moquecas and the wonderful desserts.
