The ambience of the restaurant is pleasing, the staff is extremely friendly, the vegetables are cooked in butter, which makes them tasty, the potatoes were fluffy with the right texture and melted in the mouth, and the chicken was filled and had you wanted the next bite before you were finished in your mouth. The prices are just right for a restaurant of this calibre. Be ready to have your animals on the ground so that the restaurant can remain in agreement. I know that by listening to the conversation between the staff and a customer who wanted to have their dog on the table.
In short, twenty 88 is a winner and at the edge of a 5.0 star in my book. Beautiful modern decor, long and beautiful bar, cool lighting and artwork, nice server staff and a very important point wonderful food. I have a wonderful design of a mango wine beer to start at the bar while the rest of our party appeared. When we were ready to sit, we moved back to the front room. Teal painted walls with white leather? It works ̄ (?) The menu is great, small, but filled with 10 out of 15 things I wanted to try. I let myself on the cherry glazed short ribs $34, 5.0 stars,] and settle it wasn't one of the best I ever had. My bff got the Citrus Crusted Seabass $29, 4.5 stars] it was fantastic. They took care of us with a group of six. We all ran over the place. Up there!
I had eaten last Sunday with my family in this restaurant in camarillo and was terribly disappointed. the service was incredibly poor. before we had the opportunity to study the menu, the waitress came to our order. we wanted a few minutes. she disappeared and didn't show up for 20 minutes, and when the food arrived, we had to wait for more and more, as she had forgotten to bring us! I ordered mignon for $58. the meat was blanden and was thrown on a tasteless dried potato with a circumference of previously frozen carrots and green beans. even the presentation of the food was in a bad taste. my man ordered ribeye steak($62), also tasteless and in poor presentation. we can also dinate at Denny?s and not spend so much on such a tasteless, high-quality food. the menus offered? for steaks for additional accuses that we considered ridiculous. that meant for $58 filet mignon and $62 ribeye steak her just an unseasoned piece bad quality meat in this restaurant. a total demolition with extremely bad service. not recommended.
While food was not excessively creative, twenty 88 made some of the basics really good. I was discarded by the elimination of offers, the identity crisis scream more than eclectic. But what they did, they did well. Strong meat choices like a Jalisco Short Ribs and good Ole pork chops. Risotto with scampi, a special surfing and turf with fillet and lobster. I noticed the big portions and a few on our table ended with food home. A good choice of starters with limited dessert selections, but all solid. They had a decent wine list and I must say the service was great. It is comforting to see that the team of servers and buses working in Unison and our server (Kameron) had the right balance of Chit Chat without trying hard. He ensured that we had refills and had a lot of time and patience with our big group. This night we had a solo guitarist who was a great compliment to the venue. (aka I liked his music) Gong further, the inner food was packed and loud, but not bad. There were also outdoor seats that might have been quieter, even though they were on the old city strip. I would say the prices were moderate to affordable for what you get and it for a group or an exciting night. You need to find parking, but not too bad in this busy night.
It Is such a classy setup to dine in, the wine cellars and variety of choices tell it all. I have order a delicious meal, it was tasty and their happy hour deal was great too. Thank you, I will be back again.
