Cafe des Allees - Cambo-les-Bains

Excellent stop for lunch. We ate outside and had two salads, two desserts and drinks. Competent staff, food was good would use it again if in this small Basque country town.

I regularly come to Cambo to visit my family, on some occasions I ate in this cafe until a day I was met with a very rude owner (the cafe belongs to a couple, the lady should not work in service...Industry). The café was empty at the time of our visit and we sat naturally at a table (not reserved), just to be told by the waiter, to move elsewhere... As a customer, since the place was empty, I asked to stay in our place. The waiter agreed at the end and accepted our order. Five minutes later, a woman stormed on our table and asked us to move to another smaller table... as she was as rude as she spoke (no manners) and how she worked the situation (bad customer knowledge), I asked to stay. She just turned around and told us abruptly that if we don't move to another table, we have the choice to either move or leave the café. My family members and I decided to go. Since then, I never went to this place again. The work in the service industry for more than 27 years made me allergic to such rude behavior of people who should know how to treat a customer. Fortunately, there are many other places in Cambodia where you can have a good meal and a great service and if you have a preference for a table, there is no problem.

We had food at the cafe of the avenue on two trips to Cambo-les-Babins. The food is very good, and the waiting staff is quite patient with our attempts in French! We would definitely recommend to visit Cafe des Allees Cambo!

Unfortunately have just visited this restaurant/cafe... the place was 85% empty we chose to sit a stand, but we are told to move to a number of 3 tables for 2 with barley each room to your arms if you are someone next to... You come the next couple (although there are tables everywhere) have been placed directly by us, I have one of the previous reviews about this place not friendly to vacationers, but unfortunately it is true...

Invited and I enjoyed the hearty menu and warm place. Very good reception and service.
