When we visited in the afternoon, the bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a drink in the snug area and were even acknowledged when we left. We returned in the evening with friends and once again received a warm welcome from both the staff and other customers. Despite the pub being busy, we felt included and made to feel at home. This experience makes me want to come back and spend more time there. Thank you for the great hospitality and warm smiles.
This Cambridge pub is proper in every sense. The staff is very welcoming, the beers are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is beautiful. This is how a pub should be.
I have visited the restaurant several times with my friends and once with my parents when they visited. The staff is very friendly and the small pub has a cozy atmosphere.
Enjoyed my time here drinking Guinness, watching the televised rugby and passing time in what is a traditional and welcoming pub. A pint of Guinness here is 4.80 GBP but there are other lagers and ales available such as JHB and Camden Pale Ale. The barman who served me was friendly and offered me the Wi-Fi passcode when asked. Top bloke who had good chat too. There was an open fire burning during my time here making it an appealing, warm environment to enjoy a drink in. Books, board games and food are provided too. A great visit.
Always visit here when in Cambridge. Love the staff, the atmosphere and the beer, not to mention the best Aperol Spritz outside Italy!
