A lovely place to enjoy lunch with an old friend. Great food and excellent friendly service from Alice and her colleagues.

Came here with my sister for lunch today. Staff were great, food exceeded our expectations and portions were very good. Nice laid back vibe too, so we felt very relaxed. If I lived locally I would be coming back time and again for sure!

A very odd experience lovely staff, really nice setting, however, all hot drinks were lukewarm and needed re heating, I asked for a bacon sandwich and got 2 pieces of toast, not buttered, with the bacon laid on the plate beside the toast (clearly a deconstructed approach), and our friends felt their food was just okay and again, not hot… a bit disappointing shame!

Popped in over Christmas with the family for brunch and was not disappointed. We were served by Joe who looked after us throughout being polite and very efficient. Food was delicious and served promptly. Was a lovely family get together made even better eating brunch here.

Really good food but the service was dreadful! We pre ordered as a table of 9. One person ordered outside of the set menu in advance but was told when we sat down that the menu had changed and his order was no longer available! Why we couldn't have been told that before is beyond me! We were waiting ages for the starter, over half an hour between that and the main, another 30 mins between main and desert and then despite tea and coffee being included in the price we weren't offered it. I asked but the waitress had no clue so said she'd find out....we never saw her again! They couldn't work out the bill properly either and that was just a food bill. And no deduction in price for the lack of coffee!! Such a shame as it's a really nice place and nice food, but I wouldn't visit again based on the experience we had!
