Brewster River Pub Brewery - Cambridge

We decided to return to this restaurant specifically for the chicken sandwich, but it did not meet our expectations. Despite some Covid restrictions being lifted, we were able to dine indoors without a reservation. The restaurant was quite crowded and the service was slow, possibly due to being understaffed. Our server was friendly, but we were not given a bill for our meal. The chicken sandwich was overcooked and the fries were limp and greasy. I also ordered the wings, which were not enjoyable. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and do not plan on returning.

Even though the food was tasty, we were disappointed to find out that we were charged extra at multiple places without being informed. The prices listed on the website were not what we were charged tonight. Additionally, we were surprised to see a $1.77 surcharge for using a card, which we were not previously made aware of. Unfortunately, due to this lack of transparency, we have decided not to dine at Brewsters again.

I recently visited a restaurant that has bounced back from the effects of COVID-19. The young staff there puts in a lot of effort to ensure high quality food and excellent customer service, despite being short-staffed. It was refreshing to find this place, as it was the only restaurant nearby that offered a decent meal with a friendly and hardworking waitress. My only issues were that the air conditioning wasn't working on a hot evening, and some basic food options were already sold out by 6 o'clock.

We have this place many paintings on the way to and from smuggs, but never stopped. this time we wondered why the duck never stopped. I ordered the house bourbon porter beer and it was smooth and tasty. so delicious that I had two. my man ordered a pilsner I think and enjoyed. they have a nice selection of designs and dose beer. we both ordered the fish and the chips and exceeded my expectations. it was slightly broken and well roasted. the fish was excellent. the French fries were hot and crisp. the tartaric acid sauce was excellent. cole Slav was the only disappointment, as it was quite dry. service was excellent. we will definitely return.

We love this place! The beer is good and they are always rotating something in. We used to love the south western veggie burger but they took that away which killed me (I'm not a vegetarian but it was soooo good! so now we get the quesadillas which are also amazing. The southwestern egg rolls are a must as a starter. Everything has been very good and we go probably once a week for take out during COVID
