Desfina - Cambridge

The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The manager also checked in with us to see how everything was going, which was a nice touch. The food was good overall, though not outstanding. The spanakopita had pleasant flavors, but the crust was a bit soggy. The octopus was cooked perfectly—soft and tender with a wonderful grilled flavor, without being chewy. The moussaka was decent as well, featuring a spiced meat sauce paired with sweet eggplant that was well-seasoned. However, the rice pilaf was a little on the salty side.

The food was quite enjoyable, and the sea bass was particularly delicious. However, there were too many flies in the restaurant, which was off-putting. Additionally, the prices were on the high side for the portion sizes we received. They also served us Greek bottled water without asking, and it was $5 per bottle. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

Great atmosphere and incredible service. The shrimp desfina is amazing, well seasoned. The owner is also really friendly!! A unique, local spot in east Cambridge! Recommend to anyone looking for a good time and good food.Food: 5/5

Enjoyed the food. Lentil soup was salty, but fish and gyro were good. Like the fries. They gave bottle water. I'm not sure they offer regular water. They have a parking lot in front of the restaurant with free parking.Food: 4/5
