Mex Taqueria - Cambridge

The enchilada was alright...nothing to write home about. The margarita tasted terrible. On the bright side, there was so little actual beverage in the glass (98% ice) that I didn't have to drink much. The restaurant was so loud that the 3 of us couldn't hear one another.

Food was terrible. They clearly don’t know how to make queso. Tacos were not flavorful. Also, it’s overpriced. Do yourself a favor, save your money, and keep walking towards Naco Taco a few blocks down.

Tacos in this place are something! Super delicious food,,, the salsa, guacamole, corn, empanadas, and plátanos. Staff very friendly.

Food: 1 starDrinks: 4 starAtmosphere: 4 starService: 3 starClosing time was at 10pm and we had arrived at 840.We were told we had to order by 9pm which is completely okay, so we ordered by 845.Less than 5 minutes pass by and we receive both of our appetizers and dinners at the same time. All of which were stone cold.The food was cooked prior and was sitting there. Chicken was dry. Rice was dry. Beans were overly saturated. Wings were cold. Corn was hot in some areas cold in others.Overall terrible experience, I understand we went close to close, however serving customers food that was sitting out for a while prior to serving is completely unacceptable. Especially when charging a ridiculous amount for the incredibly small portions we received.This spot seems to be a late night bar, not a restaurant.There was also a mouse we saw running around, of which you cannot get upset with a business for in the Boston area. However the hole in the wall to the right hand side of the bathroom should be fixed, for which that was where the little guy made his home.Please do not go here expecting anything more than chain Mexican food (which is very odd for a brand with a few locations)

The best inventive Mexican style food I have had in all of Boston. The ceviche, calamari and the churros were definite highlights.The drinks are also some of the best around.Kudos to these guys for knocking it out of the park.The decor and dual floor atmosphere is pretty amazing.
