Oleana - Cambridge

This was my third visit to this restaurant and I must say I was pleasantly impressed. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options for those who are gluten-free. We even joked about ordering the whole menu because there were so many tempting choices. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was the chicken dish, which was quite dry. I've had it before and it was one of my favorites, so I hope this was just an off-day and not a trend.

This restaurant in Cambridge is impressive overall, with a fantastic use of spices. I would suggest booking a reservation online well in advance and avoiding the fried mussels. The portion sizes are on the smaller side and can be challenging to share. Opinions on the borek varied among the diners. However, both the chicken and fatteh dishes were excellent.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation but were seated right away. I recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was nearly full on a Sunday night. There were three of us, with two being vegetarian, and we ordered four small plates/mezze and two desserts. My favorite dish was the potato hummus, which was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed everything we tried. For dessert, we had kunefe and profiteroles, both of which were tasty. The profiteroles were a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, our water was constantly refilled, and the table was cleared regularly. I suggest sharing dishes so you can try more of the delicious food.

Incredibly well crafted dishes! Oleana specializes in great Mediterranean cuisine. All their dishes looked beautiful and are so well made to optimize for a rich flavour. Our favourites were the Arctic Char and the Feta Cheese Sagnaki. You will have alovely experience here and it is perfect for date nights and one on ones!

Finding restaurants like Oleana can be a rare gem. With reasonable prices, a charming atmosphere, and outstanding food, it's a must-visit for small plate enthusiasts. The dishes are creative, flavorful, and a true representation of good food. One standout is the Chicory Roasted Carrot Salad, with a perfectly balanced tahini dressing that complements the unique blend of spices. Other recommended dishes include the Fatteh, Sultan's delight, and Lemon chicken. Overall, a visit to Oleana is highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.
