S&s - Cambridge

Another local secret is found absolutely again! So many options on the menu from breakfast to dinner! I have the Irish eggs and Oleg the boiled Rainbow Trout. Both dishes were huge and delicious. Completed by the excellent service of the legendary Mike large small place!

S&S Definitely has a family diner feel. It?s a fairly large restaurant with lots of seating. There?s a portion of the restaurant that offers coffee, deli meats, cheeses and other produce. I came during a busy time (noontime) there was about a eight minute wait to be seated. The only accommodations they have for solo dining is at the bar. My waitress is very kind and attentive, however due to the sheer volume of people, it took a while for me to get a drink and something to eat. I got one of the most popular items which was a lox pizza with cornbread (Mama?s pizza special). For the most popular item in their menu I have to say that it was okay. Cornbread crust was doing most of the work alongside a thick cut of cheese on top. While being somewhat tasty, it was unique I?ve never had anything like it before. Excellent restaurant and deli. Lots of seating and the staff is always friendly. They even have 2 small parking lots which is a luxury in Cambridge. The food is always delicious. Not pictured here are the S&S wings. I've been eating them since I was a kid and I think they are the best in the Boston area. I highly recommend this place.

My family has been using S&S for 60+ years never left disappointed, everything is always good I even stop at the deli for a take home dessert or container of Cole slaw or some quiche, etc.. My favorite meal is the #10 triple decker with fries instead of chips. If you do once you'll keep going there.

Really enjoyed the breakfast omelet here Plenty of options with variety of different breakfast lunch dinner plates available. The egg white omelet with pesto turkey bacon was fantastic, the plate was full of food that you can definitely get stuffed in one sitting. Very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating, parking is terrible being it is Cambridge so I?d suggest taking an Uber or The T. Glad I found a new spot I can go to when I?m in need of some breakfast that can get me through the morning.
