The restaurant had a typical atmosphere with fish tanks and dim lighting. The service was fast and efficient, but lacked a friendly touch, likely due to the majority of orders being for takeout. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, with prices comparable to other nearby establishments.
I used to live near Similan's and I really miss it! I have tried over 25 different items from here and there were only two that I didn't enjoy, everything else was great to outstanding! The Tom Khar Gai (chicken coconut) soup was amazing and the Pad Woon Sen (glass noodle stir fry) was a delicious comfort food. The Thai salad with peanut dressing was a fantastic healthy option compared to the heavier dishes. My friend raved about the spring rolls and red curry. I definitely recommend going here if you are in the area!
This restaurant in Boston offers the best Thai food in the area. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and the menu is extensive. The interior is beautifully decorated with Thai design elements and spacious enough to accommodate large groups. The owners are very friendly, especially Soun who is a kind woman. The atmosphere is great with large tropical fish tanks and nice lighting, and the service is excellent. Don't forget to try the fried ice cream for dessert, it's divine!
The food I tried (i.e., Pad Thai Country Style) was tasty; I personally would have cooked it differently—some a little less, other parts more.Exactly the atmosphere you'd expect of this kind of restaurant, with fish tanks, and dinner low lighting. Service was quick and responsive, but lacked warmth, possibly because most business seemed to be delivery pickup. Generally clean and well-maintained. Similar pricing to nearby establishments.
