The udon was cooked to the perfect texture leaving it with a very pleasant chew and incredible slurp. The broth coated the noodles well and imparted it’s deep beef flavor. The beef on the side was the nice and tender and was the best accompaniment to the noodles because the noodles were undoubtedly the star. I got the spicy cold niko noodles and it was the perfect level of heat that didn’t impede on the flavor of the broth and beef. The spice coated each noodle so well and made the dish a touch more savory. Service is quick and food gets to your stomach so fast, but if you stop by at a busy time be prepared for an intimidating line. But even with the potential line it’s well worth the wait!
Very enjoyable udon! The host who seated us was very nice and the place has a very friendly atmosphere. It really shows that you don't need a fancy place or a huge menu to have a good food experience.Food: 5/5
Worth the wait in line. The cold niku udon has a perfect balance of chewy noodles, crunchy tempura bits, and flavourful toppings and broth ? adds a touch of tartness). The broth in the spicy udon was rich and tasty.Parking: Relatively large parking lot. There is a gate at the entrace but it was left open.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible main entrance from the parking lot. Shop is on the first floor.
'Yume ' in Japanese is 'dream ' in English, and after trying this place for the first time, I will certainly be seeing their udon noodles in my dreams. Their cold Udon Noodles are their specialty, and I must say it did not disappoint one bit! All the ingredients they use are fresh, and their noodles have that perfect smooth, chewy, bouncy texture you want in a noodle. And of course, it wouldn 't be the same without their soup/broth, which has a refreshing, umami flavor that sets the foundation for the toppings and dish itself. The restaurant is a pretty small. It is such a tight space that they can only seat up to around 4 parties (10-12 people) at a time, so make sure to come early. While I was waiting in line, I saw a lot of people pick up their food to-go, so if you want to get your food faster, it seems like ordering ahead online is the move.Greatly appreciated the kind service, and thoroughly savored the delicious food. 10/10!
A lovely little place for udon. A very simple menu that focuses on its specialty udon. Relatively cheap too!I got the cold udon with no meat and an onsen egg. It was a bit difficult to eat the onsen egg, though, because I was using only chopsticks. I also got a ginger ale for a buck
