The Gator's Tail - Cambridge

I have been coming here for many years. Always a good safe time. Beer specials every night and food is homemade. Give it a try you wont be disappointed. Staff make the difference. Owners are local and sincere.

My hubby and I have been going to Gator's Tail for quite a few years now. Steve knows us by sight, and, Tanya and Victoria have our drinks ready before we even sit down. We don't even bother with menus. Chris has the fish and chips (awesome), and, I either have the Chicken & Goat Cheese wrap, or the goat cheese & portabello burger. Yes I love goat cheese. The fries are to die for. Keep doing what you are doing.

Booth seat cover has big rip in in, which i see was noted by a reviewer in 2013. Upon entering this place, i found the music a little loud so i asked if we could sit in the bar as the music was not in there. We sat down and the music turned on in the bar. Asked the server if she could turn in down a couple of times but that didn't happen. Food was ok, but due to the above issues would avoid the place.

You should try the gator bites, at least once. We all had the burgers, and all were very good. In our opinion the lattice fries were better than the garlic fries, but both were good. Over all it was a good sports bar they we would go back to again.

Average pub food... I got Philly Po'Boy sandwich, which was okay. The best part was the generous portion of melted provolone cheese! I asked for New England Clam Chowder to have it as an appetizer, but the waitress came back and told me that they didn't have it that night. They seem to host karaoke nights and yuk yuk shows... I might return for one of those events, not for the food.
