Trastevere - Cambrils

The service is terrible and the manager doesn’t care. We repeatedly ordered food and drinks and they didn’t arrive but they tried to charge us for them. What did arrive was excessively late. We tried to order drinks after dinner and were told we couldn’t as there was no clean glasses. Overall a very frustrating visit

Absolutely shocking restaurant! Looks like the best on the block by looks by far but my god you’ll be shocked. Terrible service by all the staff. Not one staff is pleasant or polite. Long story short for the purpose of the review. Found GLASS! Yes you read correctly. GLASS!! Shard of glass in my girlfriends pasta dish! She actually nearly swallowed it but luckily pulled it out of her mouth to our amazement. We complained and showed the staff, didn’t seem that bothered at all. We proceeded to go downstairs as we were leaving and not about to pay for a meal with glass in it. The main waiter got really aggressive after saying he would cop our bill. But then 2 minutes later gave me a bill with half of the stuff on it. So we questioned it! And that’s when the waiter! Yes you heard it the waiter got aggressive and attempted to punch me in the face. That’s when I dodged him and grabbed hold of his shirt and proceeded to defend myself against him. Luckily he hits like an absolute woman ! Otherwise I would of been in trouble as the other staff members came out trying to grab me up and hold while the waiter tried to knee me. After a long stand off in front of customers and staff. The policia turned up and took statements off both of us. Including the head chef. He told the police that his staff was to blame and that we had found glass shard in our meal! He then shook my hand and apologised. However heard nothing off the actual waiter who tried to attack me. Luckily he can’t fight!

What a find! Italian pizza, pasta menu. Choose your pasta and then the sauce to go with. A really wide range of sauces. Pizza menu has all the choice you could want. I had the Ragu Antico beautiful! My partner had a garlic and Chilli Oil sauce. We both loved it. Good size portion, just on the side of too much! Excellent. Service was also excellent and the bill for 2 pasta mains, a bottle of delicious house red and cafe gusto dessert €55! Brilliant value imho. The owner? Head waiter is lovely and brought and extra tiramisu when my partner was dipping into mine. What a lovely experience. You have to try it.

Good food, very good service and for about 20-25€ per person eats very well

The terrace is great and the food always very good! I recommend the calzone
