Euro Tandoori - Camden

The restaurant, now known as Chilli Shaker, has undergone a complete renovation and has new front-of-house staff. I have always frequented this place for their incredible curry, as it is hard to find a restaurant that can match their quality. In the past, the outdated decor and unfriendly staff were the only drawbacks, but now everything has changed. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is fresh and greatly improved. There have been fantastic improvements and the food is still just as fresh and delicious. If you are a curry lover, this place is a must-visit. Enjoy!

Fancied a curry before a trip to the continent and decided on this place after a bit of a wonder round Kings Cross. Service was very pleasant and prompt and my starter and my wife's tandoori chicken were pretty nice as were the popadums and chutneys. I saw a few beef options on the menu which was unusual, so decided to try one. The sauce was good but the beef rather tough, possibly frozen too long. But we had a good feed and nice drinks overall for a decent price in the location, with a complimentary drink, which as far as I've tried in the area a pleasant bonus.

This restaurant is average at best and not worth a return visit. There are plenty of other dining options in the area that offer tastier and more authentic dishes at a lower cost. It is disappointing to find that two different dishes taste the same and seem to use the same base. The service is welcoming but lacks friendliness, and it seems like they take advantage of their location near tourists who are unlikely to come back. Overall, you will end up paying too much for mediocre food once you dine here.

This restaurant is excellent. Located just a few doors down from the more upscale Indian restaurants in Kings Cross, it doesn't seem to attract as many patrons. It's a shame, because the food here is truly authentic, spicy, and full of flavor. This is what real Indian cuisine should taste like. And the staff are delightful as well; they have a charming old-school charm.

I visited the Euro Tandoori on 23/5/16 and was served by Showkat. The food was very tasty, the service was quick and very friendly! Would highly recommend!!
