Feedback gevenThis was the second time of going to Guanabana. We loved it the first time so decided to go again for our Christmas roast dinner with even more friends. We hoped it wasn't a one off and Guanabana did NOT disappoint. From starter, main to desert it was all on point. The first time we went we thanked Chef Stefan and Chef Nicholas person and was delighted to see them still there. We've recommended it to friends and family and will most definitely be there again in 2024. I gave 4 instead of 5 as booking was sometimes challenging to get updates. Whilst in the restaurant all of the staff were very friendly especially Nathalie and thanks to Jasmine for your professionalism. See you in 2024
Had a roast jerk beef and pumpkin soup as part of a Christmas meal there. The soup was great. The roast was really good but quite a surprise as was like a Sunday roast but with a very hot spice to it. Really good. Downside was it was quite pricey at £40. And to take in a beer was £3 a bottle which put me off so had one of their own soft drinks. All alcohol is bring your own. However the service was absolutely superb and they are a lovely friendly team. I will return to try the rest of the menu
Food is average at best, definitely not authentic Caribbean, more a mish mash of courses with some distinctly non-Caribbean dishes and flavours. Service was good but not authentic Caribbean cuisine.
Home cooked delicious food! Ordered the jerk chicken platter and it was so good! Tasty and a huge portion for £39. Service was great, the waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return again. Oh and the music was a vibe!
The food was on point, all of us enjoyed our dishes, however the service wasnt great and thats why i gave 3 stars but the food would be a 4 star.
