Mai Sushi - Camden

I had a wonderful dining experience at Mai Sushi. The sushi, rolls, and sashimi were all fresh and delicious. The eggplant starter was particularly tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and relaxed. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

The sushi you get at this restaurant is of excellent quality and comes at a great value. Additionally, the service is friendly and prompt. I highly recommend trying the scallop sushi.

There isn't much to report. We dined at Mai nine years ago, and by chance, we booked a hotel just around the corner this time. Our expectations were not high (you never know how things can change in nine years), but thankfully Mai Sushi is still a simple establishment with fantastic food. Don't anticipate an ornate interior, as that is not typical Japanese style. Just savor the exceptional dishes. A small suggestion to Mai: please ensure that your payment terminal can accept Maestro cards. After all, it is 2022.

Not bad at all with one or two dishes standing out well. The others were a bit average and borderline questionable hence the average review. Dishes to go for edamame, agedashe tofu. Miso soup. Plus points. Great for parking (after 630pm quiet area. Good service. Nice ambience.
