Fabulousl. If you're from America they have dishes that you've never seen before. Be adventureous and try them. If you go early you can have the restaurant to yourself.
Tried this place because of the good reviews but we were less than impressed. Decided to get takeout and go back to our hotel. The biryani was bland and the side curry was full of non-Indian stuff like peas and sweetcorn with little flavour. The onion bahjis were not great. The Goan fish curry was terrible- too much chili and overcooked battered fish. We won’t be going back. There are several other good-looking Indian restaurants in the same street!
We were looking for a good curry close to where we were having a few drinks after work, and gave this place a try. We got seated and served swiftly by the lovely Raj, who made me an incredible garlic and chilli paneer dish that wasn’t on the menu, but was absolutely delicious. The place is nothing fancy, just as you would expect at the Indian restaurants along Drummond Street, but hit the spot for a tasty curry after work.
Can’t fault this place. Work in London quite a bit stay near Euston as that’s where I get the train to. Food here service is excellent. The guys are friendly and I always like to get them to recommend a dish…. never disappointed! Prices are good, cheap actually for London and they don’t shaft you on drinks. Usually busy which is a good sign but they will get you in.
