Blaze Brewing Company - Camden

The food here was terrible! We were a party of three, ordered fish tacos, a mushroom burger and crabcakes. All three looked like the food was thrown on the plate without looking at it. The crab cakes were black, they were so overcooked. The fish tacos were a mess of unidentifiable ingredients piled on two corn tortillas next to a mountain of soggy fries. The mushroom burger was so watery the bun was soaked, you couldn't eat it like a sandwich. Our waiter was very respectful of our feedback at the end of the meal and the manager did take something off the bill to compensate, which we did appreciate. The view of the Camden harbor is fantastic, but I won't be going back, unfortunately.

My wife and were on a week long road trip along the coast of Maine. We stopped through Camden on the way up and back from Bar Harbor and we stopped at Blaze both times. The first time I got a wonderful beer at the bar on the patio on the water. I got a sour that really wasn't sour. It tasted like a creamsicle. Really good. Bartender was nice and I got a couple of stickers. On our back through Camden, I got the duck burger and a couple of IPAs and my wife got a pizza, no cheese. The waiter was a little goofy on the back patio over the water, but the duck burger came out and looked beautiful and the two IPAs were great. The duck burger was HUGE and was nice and juicy. The view over the harbor fit nicely with their pizza, which was nothing special according to my wife, but it looked good. I would stop here. no questions on a visit through Camden. Good stuff and great atmosphere.

Came after a long hike and loved the cold beer and menu. Great fish and chips and oysters. Good view and service, nice experience overall.

Don't bother if you don't want a full meal. We stopped in at dinner time because Blaze had a nice patio facing the water. After waiting about 10 minutes for service, we were asked to vacate the table because all we wanted to order was drinks and appetizers. We left and walked a block to a place with a much nicer patio. There, we were served drinks and appetizers, and eventually dinner, by very friendly local staff.

Dog friendly! Amazing service! But that 's not why I give it a 5/5 This is the first place I 've seen a scallop BLT with scallops grilled perfectly paired with crispy bacon. This is a must if you love BLT! The fish tacos were made of haddock with a perfectly seasoned mango salsa The lobster rolls were delicious and very meaty, but the best part of this meal was the salad!! Yes, the salad!! guessing here) spring greens, grilled onions with sundried marinated heirloom tomatoes with an oregano infusion?? Whatever was in it made this side salad into a star salad !
