The restaurant is spartan but full of locals. The service was quick and extremely helpful and polite even with us that we didn’t speak a word of portuguese. There is not a menu from which you can choose, they only serve one dish of the day but for 5€ per person with wine, water and coffee, there’s nothing to say. Give it a try if you’re hungry and you want to savor true and honest portuguese cuisine.
Everything in this place is familiar: the waiters, the menu and the public. The waiters aren't professionals. They are good people and work fast and are easy going. They serve above 60 seats, 11am to 2pm, until they run out of public and food to serve. The choice is not comprehensive bit every dish is good straight away. No complication, good chicken, veal, all with fries and some salad. Menu is cheap, quality spans from OK to good, so the value is high. The place is basic and noisy. I recommend going, especially if you want to save while eating OK.
