Dear Marta, dear Gabriele We would like to thank you for your hospitality and for having us. It was such a lovely day and the best lunch ever. We had a great time with your lovely menu degustazione. In the end we were so sad to leave. Gabriele, you are a wonderful host and Marta a great cook. Your service is exquisit and warm. The Barolo recommended by you from your friend is wonderful. We will definitely come back. It was a wonderful change to be the only foreigners in a restaurant, and we enjoyed that very much as we had the feeling of belonging and we have italian origins as well : . So nice!
Excellent Food! Very friendly, perfect English speaking staff OWNER Breathtaking view!! To make sure, we could enjoy a romantic dinner, Gabriele brought up a fully equipped toy kitchen for our 5y daughter : Very sweet :
On our recent trip to Piedmont we visited BillyBau twice, as having been there once was just not enough!! Small family run restaurant very tucked out of the way, but very worth the find!!!!! Both nights we had beautifully cooked food prepared by Marta, who has a flair for producing excellent cuisine. We also had the pleasure of meeting Gabriele, our host, who kept us well informed on choice from the menu, and gave Susan an impromptu Italian lesson, which was very enjoyable. We tried to help in return with some Scots colloquialisms, and we both thought Gabriele enjoyed the nonsense! One to NOT miss if you are in this part of the world!!
We got the tip from the local librarian, who helped us a lot during our stay i Camino. We would never have found it without help. It was worth driving the small roads to eat there. It can be recommended
