I also ordered Brisket. The meat was good, but it was not cut into beautiful thin slices, as Brisket is always served in Texas. So I could not see any evidence for a smoke ring or be able to give the meat a beautiful tug to see that accordion flex effect to show that it was boiled properly because it came to me more like pulled pork. But they get points not to drown their meat in sauce. They're gonna leave this on you. The taste of the sauce was spot on, but a little too thick in texture as a grill sauce from the store. It should be thin. And although the unhonoured Texan toast bread is traditionally served, the small role they give you with your meal is more buttery and savory. I wasn't mad at it. Everything was served on butcher paper and they have pimples and onions to go with him. Some of the pages were not traditional, but I will take cream spinach every day over beans, coleslaw and/or potato salad. The staff was professional and the facility was clean. I'm coming back.
Went to Dickeys like had a free classic sandwich for my birthday and eating there occasionally. Service was great, food was great and they made my birthday special. Our waiter in Houlihans, where we went to my actual birthday, did not even recognize my birthday, so this was something that it really appreciated at Dickeys. Will be back with my family.
Very delicate and wet pulled pork sandwiches and the Mac and the cheese to die. Your chocolate chip cookies were also delicious. Free children meals on Sundays that are great!!! The prices are also very good. The staff was very nice and the restaurant looked very clean. Keep the good work!!
The meat was juicy and tender and the staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I both have a 2 meat plate with two sides. My plate had a lot of fat on it and the staff was ready to give me a slimmer cut! They really did my day and dinner was delicious. We also liked the 3 different bbq sauce choices as well as the pickles and onions that you can add to your plate. The jalapeno baked beans had a really good heat for them, not too hot, but just right!
First time here. Very rustic in style. Meats smoked on site. They have a different deal of the day , which it would have been nice, since it was our first visit,if that had been pointed out to us. Anyway, this is a 3rd generation family owned business since 1941,since franchised, that still has the first location in operation. They have a good selection of meats including chicken breast, turkey, pork, kielbasa and beef brisket. We ordered the two meat plate with 2 sides. The beef brisket and chicken were very good. You have your choice of the sauce to add.The only complaint I have is the meat should have been hot..it was lukewarm.
