Daves' Bakery - Campbell River

I had always heard great things about the Ruben here and my mom (a huge Ruben fan) definitely gave her sign of approval. A 30 minute lineup with a very efficient team that wasted no time getting their most excellent food to us in a timely manner.....So we went back to this place again 4 days later. And wouldn 't you know it, the guy mastering the sandwiches welcomes me back and nearly gets my name right! These guys must have gotten 300+ customers through their doors and he welcomes me back like I 'm a regular. You know I gotta give 5 stars for that!Also, again, the Ruben are fantastic. House made Saurkraut is A tier. Check 'em out!

Walked in and the guy behind the counter rudely told us they were closed. Turned around and walked out, as I was browsing the neighbor shop I noticed him serving other ppl that went in after I left ?

To the staff member who helped us: please remember that you are visible to customers from behind the counter. It wasn’t a pleasant sight to see you crumpling up the sandwich form I had filled out and tossing it in the trash, all while dramatically waving it around and shaking your head at a colleague. You then turned to us with a smile, as if we had somehow missed a show. Additionally, if filling out sandwich forms bothers you so much, consider removing the note from your menu that states they are available at the counter, and perhaps keep them off the top of the counter altogether.

Dave’s Reuben is absolutely incredible! The sausage rolls are fantastic, too. All the delectable treats make it really tough to pick just two! Lol!

Our absolute favourite spot for delicious sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, and kind service! So lucky to have Dave’s in our neighbourhood.
