Ginger Beef House - Campbell River

The owner of ginger beef house was SO nice when my friend and I were desperately looking for any open restaurant for some warm homey food. It was already past 8:30 but their open sign was on and the lady came out and took us in and cooked us a last minute wonton soup togo. She even threw in a free box of whatever was left from their dinner buffet because she saw that we were visiting town and were really hungry. Overall the most genuine and wholesome family owned business!

Went for dinner buffet. Food was very fresh and delicious.

The staff is super friendly. The all you can eat to go is a nice touch.

Got take out. I believe they gave us day old rice and chow mein. Called to inform them. They offered a free meal next time. We wont be going

We used to go here all the time when my boys were younger. My kids are now teenagers and it’s been years since we have come. And the lovely young lady who always greets everyone and checks in on everyone remembered my family and my kids. Such a great feeling to be remembered ??The food is yummy like we remember.We will definitely be coming back againKid-friendliness: They have always been kind to my kids, when they were 6 and now as teens
