Taco Del Mar - Campbell River

I have visited several Taco Del Mar locations across North America, but this specific place is terrible. The burrito was bland and mushy, lacking any flavor whatsoever. In the midst of the pandemic, options are limited in this city, but I would rather eat a cardboard burrito than the one I had at this place.

I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. Each time I visit, the experience gets worse. The workers seem to use the restroom without washing their hands, which is disgusting. They are all poorly trained and rude. Today, I ordered a burrito bowl and had to repeatedly ask for extra of everything. The person preparing my salad had to go back multiple times to add enough toppings, and even then, my salad only filled half of the dish. They do not change gloves between preparing different meals, which is unsanitary. Overall, I would not recommend dining here.

The restaurant is situated in a small strip shopping center alongside a bank, pizza place, pharmacy, and insurance office. The staff are very friendly and the prices are affordable. The service is excellent.

I miss this taco del mar, I have eaten the same Burrito times in the week and most employees even knew my order! I had to go to another city and I still think of my burrito, all the time. When I fly to the house and go home, I always stop and get a burrito first.

One person serving, and a family of people in front of us, we were there a good minutes ahead of closing, waited for the guy to finish serving the people in front and at we were told that they were closed. We...had people behind us too, they were pretty mad.... we only needed a child's taco. Not cool to make you wait as subway closed at as well. I had a very grumpy kid, and then had to grab a microwave meal for him from shoppers.... not a good move Taco Del Mar, not good.
