Risposta Bistro - Campbellville

We thoroughly enjoyed and were impressed with this gem of a restaurant. Everything about Risposta is top-notch from the well-prepared and delicious food to the friendly and knowledgable service. What was just going to be a stop on our little Sunday drive became a fun adventure as we visited their on-location hens, walked through their vegetable and herb garden and toured their lovely second-floor hall and suite. This venue would be suitable for an endless number of occasions from casual get-togethers to weddings or business events. They even host cooking classes upstairs with lessons from their award-winning chef. Thank you to everyone at Risposta who made our little visit an event. We will certainly be back and happily recommend you to all who appreciate great food presented with panache.

This was our first visit to this Cambellville gem The menu is quite unique— we had difficult deciding. It was lunch time. I chose the small plates shrimp calamari. The presentation was exceptional wish I had taken a photo) and the taste was also. My partners penne in a vodka sauce was also excellent. Service was outstanding and the crowd there at 2:00 on a Thursday afternoon was testament to the popularity of this establishment.

The food and service at this Bistro are great. We ate in the dining room for causal fine dining (they have an extensive patio, too, but we’ve never eaten there as we prefer indoor dining). Portions are generous and delicious. In fact, we had some leftovers to take home. We enjoyed everything we ordered. They have a nice wine list, too. It is a bit out of the way for us from where we live (Flamborough area) but worth the drive through the country roads for us to get there. We’ll be back.

The food and service were excellent. I will definitely be coming back. The Caesar salad was delicious and the pizzas were outstanding.
