La Solitaria - CAMPIONE D'ITALIA

We have visited this restaurant many times at different times of the year. During the warmer months the tables outside have an amazing view over the Piano Lake and the sunsets are spectacular The service is always warm and friendly and the food is delicious The restaurant gets very busy at weekends so I would recommend that you book a table to avoid disappointment.

We often stop in this restaurant when we drive through Porlezza. The food choice is large and they serve quickly. The servers are always very nice. The parking is large and is just in front of the restaurant. In summer you can sit outside and you have a view over the mountains. Prices are ok.

This has been one of our favourite restaurants for the past few years..situated just off the main road, it is really easy to get to, with ample parking. The outside tables overlook the Piano Lake. Get there early as the restaurant is always busy. The extensive menu has all the Italian favourites but I can recommend the Fegato liver) with onions or the Cordon Blue veal with cheese and ham) The staff are efficient and friendly

Slechts op een paar minuten van de camping is dit restaurant. Mooie terras met mooi uitzicht. Mooie staf. De pizza is goed, maar zeker niet meer dan dat. We hebben zeker betere pizza's gegeten in Italia. De volgende keer kiezen we een ander schot.

This restaurant is situated directly off the road, overlooking the piano lake and lake Lugano. There is a wide selection of local dishes, including home made soups and others like fegato, which you don't find in many restaurants. The pizzas and pasta dishes are cooked very well and there is a very good selection. This restaurant can get very busy over the weekends, so if you want a table with a good view, it is advisable to book.
