Feedback gevenI've known the Pichlerhof hotel/restaurant for over 30 years and has never disappointed me. The Steinkasserer family is always friendly and offers genuine hospitality, as well as the simple dishes it offers. Ideal place for those who want to get away from chaos and prefers silence and beauties of mountain nature.
About an hour and a half from Rio Bianco with a walk through the woods you arrive in summer to this isolated hut with a beautiful view. Excellent food especially eggs with speck and potatoes. Great beer!
We were in the pichlerhof in the early evening and have fed 2 tasty forst be 2 local specialties. eating, the operation and the ambiente outside on the terrace was rustic, but this also belongs to the jausenstations mountain restaurants. delicious was it all!
First good things: Location; isolated and quiet, someone may not like it but otherwise you are coming to the mountains? Cleaning; above average, both for rooms and for common areas. Ski storage; one of the best ever seen, warm, dry, wide, with boot heaters and equipped with security cameras. Wellness area; apart from the turkish bath covered in plastic material there is a discreet swimming pool, a beautiful hot tub and two saunas of which one in infrared and also a massage armchair. Then the negative sides: Cortesia; leaves much to be desired, especially the restaurant's room staff. Bathrooms; blind, and, in most rooms occupied by our group (about 20), with the non-functioning vacuum cleaner. Dark; these are orange curtains thick a little more than a sheet, at 7 in the morning in March it was no longer possible to sleep. Bar; I understand that they do not feel Italian, but the laws should apply them all and do not allow the adventurous to smoke inside an unequipped room of adequate suction system. For all these reasons, I think that the vote might be very wide. Little note, it will be that we were many, but so decantated cotolettes were slightly raw inside and too greased with oil, the insipid ravioli and the quite poor vegetable buffet.
We were eating here several times and prices are very good and we always ate very well. This Gasthof also has a chairlift with a nice downhill track of about 2.5km. So try. I recommend it especially to families
