I was there in the middle of winter, early evening so the place was empty. They have overhead gas heaters so we weren't cold. We recieved great service but the star of the show was the pulled pork sandwich. It was excellent, best I've had in Cape Town. Perfect smoke flavour, and you can tell it's been cooked low, slow and for a long time as it was the most tender bite of meat you'll eat. At the M65/M66 intersection, is a gate, follow the dirt road upto the farmhouse and discover a lovely setting, quiet, chirping birds, oak trees, fynbos and rolling views up to Tietkloof's heights. The Farmhouse has some nice food, great meat to enjoy around one of their sleek crisp beers. Great staff, especially the “Rhodesian”. Nice place to stop over on a Sunday drive for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
