Wow! Look no further to eat one of the best steaks in Cape Town. The atmosphere in this small restaurant is friendly and welcoming, and the service is personal. The meat was cooked perfectly and the knife slid into the steak like melted butter. The house wine was a good enough match for the quality of the meat and the chocolate vodka rounded off a perfect meal! I'll be back...

Best meal to date in 2017! Perfect steak, balanced sauces and the veggies that will make you go back for more. So wowed in general that we even ordered pudding (fresh baked figs drizzled with honey balsamic reduction with mascarpone), a rarity for us savoury lovers. #yumbloodyYum Attention to detail like background music (foot tapping), chef/owner interaction, lovely winelist, small menu with extra seasonal specials, warm chocolate liqueur fresh cream shots, intimate atmosphere, etc etc. Counting the days till next meal opportunity. Long live the Rare Grill and it's team passion!

Absolutely amazing! My friends relocated from Joburg and cannot find a good steak in Cape Town, well last night we found that place! Excellent quality, excellent taste, all perfect! Love the small menu as it means you are able to really deliver amazing food all the time. Looking forward to our next visit. And wow the chocolate bomb
