A greeter did not just ask for a name when seating us, a server used the name to address when taking an order and bringing food. Offerings on the breakfast menu were original and very tasty. As we enjoyed our breakfast, we were amazed to observe that everyone working in the cafe was both efficient and relaxed.
Such a great lunch spot, I recommend the turkey sandwich! We like to get food to go and the online mobile ordering is so easy. The inside is cute though! And everyone is so nice and it benefits a good cause : win win!
Deliciously delectable cuisine, Pleasant, attentive staff--you can even treat Appalachian Trail thru hikers who stop off here, since much of the AT through CT is roads. One drawback, need screens on windows or not keep kitchen door open to limit flies.
This great restaurant sits right off the Appalachian Trail where locals and thru hikers sit and enjoy this farm to table concept. This spacious restaurant is tucked away in the woods . The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We went with the Johnnie Cash skillet melted cheese over eggs and home fries with bacon just awesome. I also grabbed a cinnamon apple scone and it was melt in your mouth good this place was just yum.
My initial reaction was that the cafe was a bit loud with the chatter and hubbub. In the end it was pretty easy to get used to. The food arrived quickly and was really really good. We got the chorizo quesadilla appetizer and that blew my socks off. I was almost full from sharing that one dish with my wife. The reason of the menu was just as good, highly recommend the Mountain cafe
