Zia Maria - Canaan

They wouldn't think much out of this place, but we were there a few times and the food was great. They make their own bread, which is great, we found out when we ordered a meat grinder. Also excellent Greek salad. In any case, we go back, we're looking for other meals.

Excellent food and waitress was very nice. I had the Monte Carlo ravioli. It was delicious. All of the food was homemade. The waitress kept refilling my iced tea during my dinner for me. They are very pleasant and generous here. I enjoyed my dining experience.

We are regulars at Zia's! We have never had a bad meal. My husband has tried almost everything on the menu. Cono is a fantastic chef!!!! Everything is made to order and Julie is the best waitress ever. Whenever we bring someone in, they rave about both the food and the service. Best place in town!!!

We have been coming to experience the BEST food in Canaan for many many years. Chef/Owner Cono the owner and his cook strive for perfection with every meal they prepare. Waitress Julie is always friendly and attentive. A fine dining experience.

Just had an absolutely incredible pizza today. I grew up in Manhattan and I know something about pizza. Zia Maria's food is remarkable. You wait a little longer than at other places, and then the made-to-order feast arrives.
