White Grass Cafe - Canaan Valley

As a beginner on the three miles long way. He made it to the beautiful place for a lunch break. Three miles of trail was perfect for me as a beginner. Only enough challenging parts. The atmosphere at the lodge is great. Don't miss the moonlight!

We came to Davis, WV and Canaan are not open, so we came to White Grass. What a jewel! We really had fun learning Cross Country Ski. Chip was so beautiful and wants to do with us in the Okefenokee canoe. Thanks for your hospitality to us Southern Folks.

What a great experience from beginning to end. Extremely helpful and competent staff never hesitate to offer information, give a hand or provide advice for beginners. Trails were fresh powder, something that is obviously very common there. Several trail options for different difficulty. Areas full of snow from skis were tied by the employees all day. Café was open and offered a variety of options to enjoy from each of the outdoor fires that burn for common use.

Great mood and great staff. You feel at home as soon as you get out of the car. Great beer selection and snacks to drive your cross-country adventures. A
