Food was very fishy Strong fishy aftertaste no good

This place is an absolute gem, we’re so glad we found it! We always search for the best places on our travels and this did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful, authentic and fresh and the owners were so kind. Sene Grill is officially on our list of places to stop whenever we go through Ohio! Highly recommend!!

Friendly and welcoming service...and the food is beyond delicious! Give this gem a try...i promise you will not be disappointed.

I had wanted to try the Sene Grill for many months but wife didn't want to. I had to volunteer on a Wed. The Grill opens at 11:00 AM and I was there just a little after. The place was empty some of that is probably where it is located in a strip mall behind the main strip mall area and being from a Midwest Rural area, I presume many people would hesitate to try the food. The food is from Senegal which is located in the Northern west central area of Africa. They have pictures so you know what the food looks like and the gentleman who was manning the register also cooked the food answered any questions. Being a little adventurous I chose the Yassa Yassa EXQUISITE WHITE RICE WITH VEGETABLE MIX WITH OUR DEVINE MARINATED GRILLED CHICKEN, LAMB, OR TILAPIA SERVED ALONGSIDE A TANGY LEMON ONION SAUCE AND A SPRINKLE OF VEGETABLES TO ADORN. He asked if I wanted it spicy and I said yes. The food took about 5 to 8 minutes to prepare and I aslo bought a soft drink, When the food arrived $7, the plate was very full with the lamb, a spicy onion marinade and rice with mixed fresh vegetables. It was a lot of food for the money. I really enjoyed the food the spiciness was not blasting hot but a rather tangy reminder which I cut when I ate the rice. I would go back again for the price. The place itself isn't fancy. There are families of Senegalese working at a local factory so I presume take out is more popular than eating in. Looking in the window, you may hesitate to eat here but take the step you will be rewarded by the good different food.

I don’t even want to rate this a one! This food basically poisoned me. Never tasted something this disgusting ? Senetaste is right around the corner and it’s way better and cleaner with dining
